The Dreamer

Last but not least we come to the Nine with a One wing who has been called 'The Dreamer.' Both the Nine and the One tend to repress their emotions - the Nine because they want to maintain a certain peace and the One because they want to maintain a certain self-control so this subtype is more emotionally restrained than the Nine with an Eight wing. They are also less grounded and more 'airy' too, being creative and imaginative and interested in symbols, ideas, philosophies and spirituality and they can be particularly good at synthesising different schools of thought or bringing ideas together to find a commonality. Healthy people of this subtype have a lot of integrity. They are generally friendly and reassuring but with a seriousness and idealism to their views. We see in this subtype the non-judgemental listening of the Nine with the common sense and desire to be of help of the One. As a result they often give wise counsel and so make good therapists, teachers and friends. They can also sometimes become moral leaders.
