How do Fives experience their experience?

This question itself is a 'Five' sort of question. Fives are naturally curious and the why and how of things are very important to them. They pose lots of questions and don't accept answers without asking more questions. This is partly because Fives feel they do not have the resources or the capacity to deal with life and so retreat into their minds. Building up as much knowledge as possible and figuring things out are their way of coping with the overwhelming world 'out there' and finding some form of safety. As a result of their inquiries and being continually inquisitive and perceptive, they often become experts in something, able to see and understand things in staggeringly original and insightful new ways. The problems come when they spend more time hanging out in their minds than they do in the real world. Too long spent in their heads tinkering with ideas and problems, conceptualising, constructing and reconstructing cuts them off emotionally and physically from others and themselves. Fives need to remember to stay in touch with their bodies through exercise or some sort of physical doing and to not isolate themselves. Friends, loved ones and other people in general help to keep them connected with their hearts and with the real world around them.
