Fours feel different and misunderstood and tend to see their experiences through this lens. As a result their identity becomes wrapped up in being different and, as such, they have a resistance towards anything they feel is too generic, run of the mill or popular. They are emotional truth-seekers who relate everything to their feelings - 'How do I feel about that?' However, as Fours are only too aware, feelings change whihc can make things difficult and Fours can be moody and temperamental. At their best they are individualists who are not afraid to delve deep into their feelings and then stand up and fearlessly do their own thing - whether that be through creative expression or by refusing to go along with the crowd. They are often brilliant at alchemising their feelings and expressing them in a way that is cathartic (for themselves) and truly touching for others. Fours often have to learn not to reject something just because others like it, or do it. There is nothing wrong with wanting what others want and it may be something that would be good for them.
