The Defender

The Six with a Five wing has been called 'The Defender'. Both the Five and the Six are in search of security but they go about it in different ways. The Six finds security in their affiliations with others, through external systems, structures and philosophies whereas the Five withdraws from the world, finding security with knowledge and in tinkering with those systems and structures, often enjoying dismantling them. So the Six with a.Five wing has a bit of both going on. They prefer working within fields that have a clear structure and parameters attached to them - such as engineering or the law - but at the same time see themselves as standing up for the 'little people', often championing the underdog or being spokespeople for those who are disadvantaged in some way. Healthy people of this subtype are engaging, curious and perceptive. They make good educators and are excellent trouble-shooters as being able to see ahead and predict how other people will react is important to them.
