The Bohemian

The Four with a Five wing has been called 'The Bohemian'. The Four and the Five are both withdrawn types and so they tend to reinforce each other. As a result, this subtype is more introverted than the Four with a Three wing and they also tend to be less ambitious. Individuals of this subtype are often drawn to the arts and social sciences as they have a mix of intuition (the Four) and insight (the Five) which makes for probably the most creative of all the subtypes. This is the classic artistic temperament with the Five bringing an intensity to the picture. Healthy people of this subtype are very observant, combining emotional sensitivity with intellectual acuity and, being less concerned with the opinions of others than the other subtype, tend to follow their muse wherever it takes them. Their ability to mix originality of thought with understanding of feeling means they are able to produce work that is original and idiosyncratic - sometimes with stunning results.
