Social Roles

Each Enneagram type plays out and defines itself in terms of a social role - a role it takes upon itself (mostly subconsciously). Sometimes it is difficult to identify one's Enneagram type but I have found that it can be easier to recognise the social role one plays even if one has not really thought about it before. So I will list them here: The Rock, The Educator, The Dutiful Worker, The Expert, Nobody Special, The Special Case, The Special Friend, The Best, The Energiser.
