For Threes to watch for

Threes are committed to developing themselves to be the best that they can be. They work hard to personify the values of their particular culture which means that they are often seen as role models as people want to be like them. Threes want to be winners so are competitive and will often present an attractive 'polished' image of competence and professionalism. Sometimes their competitivity gets the better of them however, especially if they feel that their position as 'the best'' is being threatened or that they are not winning. At this point it becomes important for them to at least seem to win and they can start to promote falsehoods about themselves, lie about their achievements, claim the successes of others as their own or put other people down in order to build themselves up. In short, they will do whatever it takes to come out on top. When those around them realise this, it can come as a bit of a shock - not only because the successful image of the Three is seen to be a facade but also that they could have been lied to, 'used' and treated in such a way.
