For Ones to watch for

Ones are ethical, responsible and objective. They have integrity and purpose and their focus is on upholding standards. Whilst this is very commendable it can have a tendency to go too far. Their determination to improve things to comply with their standards of how things should be, can lead to a perfectionism and intolerance for mistakes. At such times they become pedantic and picky and while they may be right in what they are saying - and, being a One, they often are - the way in which they deliver their message can undermine their good intentions. They can sometimes speak to others as though they [the One] are the only adult in the room while everyone else is a child to be reprimanded for their failure to do something properly or well enough. Criticism is difficult to receive even at the best of times but being spoken to like a child tends to make us feel like children. As a result the One may meet resistance to what they are saying or trying to do. This is the opposite of what they want which is to affect change in a positive way.
