Admirable Sixes

Sixes are loyal, engaging and egalitarian, believing that everyone should have a voice. They are responsible, likeable and act for the good of the whole, not just themselves. This makes them excellent team-players (although they are able to take the lead if necessary) and good at holding things together. So three Sixes to admire (I think) are:

J. Krishnamurti - for his great teachings and wisdom which included the belief that 'Humanity is part of nature, and if nature is not cared for, it will boomerang on man. Only the right education, and deep affection between people everywhere, will resolve many problems including the environmental challenges'.

Bono - for his long career leading U2, his long marriage and his long-term philanthropic and humanitarian work which has focussed, especially, on Africa and AIDS.

Tom Hanks - for being a wonderful actor able to play both comedic as well as tragic roles, for making a host of quality films such as 'Philadelphia' and 'Forrest Gump' and for being generally accepted as one of the most likeable and genuine people in Hollywood.
