The Direction of Integration for the Two is to Four. This means that the Two, when feeling relaxed and secure, takes on some of the behaviours of the healthy Four (as opposed to the One for whom the move to Four is the Direction of Disintegration in which they thereby take on some of the unhealthy Four behaviours). This move to Four manifests in Twos by their willingness to accept all of their feelings, not only the warm, loving part of their nature but also the negative and angry feelings. They are able to admit that they have needs too and they develop the self-awareness of the healthy Four to acknowledge their true motivations. In so doing they become more emotionally honest and so gain more emotional depth. With their acceptance of the full range of their feelings - their whole self therefore - they are thus able to accept others more fully too. This deeper connection with themselves and others brings a more profound understanding of their relationships and the human condition. They begin to understand that they can be loved for who they are, not just for the kind things they do for others, that they, in turn, can be loved for their whole self. As they evolve into a more authentic self there is also the realisation that they are more in demand than ever as others respond to the more genuine self that they are expressing. As a result they feel greater fulfilment and happiness.
