When the One moves to Seven

When the One feels secure and confident, they take on some of the behaviours of the healthy Seven. What does this look like? Ones are self-controlled and keep their impulses and what they see as some of the 'bad' side of human nature in check. Because they have a strong sense of right and wrong and feel a responsibility to uphold that, they have a seriousness of attitude and a profound conscience. As a result they can find themselves constrained by their own attitudes and burdened by their standards which they feel they can't live up to. The move to Seven is a relaxing of that. The One becomes less severe on themselves so less inhibited, more spontaneous and flexible in those attitudes. They realise that they do not have to be perfect - and nor does anyone else. That it is possible to be imperfect and still be a good and decent person. That it is possible to enjoy life's pleasures without becoming selfish or irresponsible. This provides them with a sense of release, and freedom therefore, so allowing them to relax and rediscover their 'joie de vivre'. As a result they become more enthusiastic and playful and are much happier.
