Riso/Hudson call the Two with a One wing 'The Servant'. As we have seen in my previous post, the Two and the One are slightly at odds because the Two is emotional and demonstrative whereas the One is objective and rational. However, both Types have strong super-egos which they attempt to placate. The Two being the basic Type, this individual will strive to be selfless and good and the One wing brings a sense of obligation and duty. So the altruism of the Two is more pronounced here than in the Two with a Three wing. Twos with a One wing will try to act on principle and to be fair although their emotions may get the better of them sometimes. Healthy people of this subtype combine warmth with a seriousness of purpose and can do a lot of good as they work to improve the lives of others, often supporting causes and serving people or organisations in some way. They can be particularly effective teachers as they combine objectivity and values with encouragement and appreciation.
