The Maverick

The Eight with a Seven wing has been called ‘The Maverick’. The Seven/Eight mix, as we saw in my last post, makes for an assertive, aggressive mix but this is even more pronounced in this subtype as Eight is the basic type. So this subtype has a very direct approach to life. They tend to ‘cut to the chase’ in the way they communicate and in going after what they want in life. They are action-oriented, robust and have lots of confidence. Healthy people of this subtype mix the enthusiasm of the Seven with the charisma of the healthy Eight and have the capacity to not only create opportunities for themselves and others but also the ability to carry people along with them in their projects. This subtype is a force to be reckoned with as they have a wilful strength which allows them to challenge and endure through many ups and downs. They often prefer to work for themselves rather than being a cog in someone else's wheel. These are the self-starters and entrepreneurs who have the combination of drive, vision and energy to make things happen.
