Ones

Ones have a strong sense of right and wrong so doing the right thing is very important to them. They are conscientious and responsible, principled and purposeful, guided by a deep inner conviction which leads them to serve, educate, or in some way to improve things. As a result they have high standards for themselves and others which can lead them, when they are less present, to becoming dissatisfied with the way things are and instead focussing on how things should be. At this point they can become perfectionistic, critical, self-righteous and judgemental of anything or anyone who does not live up to those high standards. However, at their best, Ones are fair, objective and rational. They are able to delay their own gratification and work for causes beyond themselves. They give wise counsel and can be relied upon to stand up for the right thing even if it may come at a personal cost to themselves - and sometimes that cost can be very great. As a result they are hugely effective in their actions which inspire others because those actions come from such a strong moral compass. We can count on Ones to uphold human decency and to guard the moral high ground even, and most especially, when times are tough. And in such times there can be difficult choices to make but we can all look to the One part in each of us for guidance -because it will know what is right.
