The primary fear of the Seven is of being deprived and trapped in pain. As a result the desire of the Seven is to be happy, to find fulfilment and contentment. As a result of this they put a lot of effort into pleasure, focussing on what they can do that will make them happy. This can become a preoccupation to the extent that they are always looking forward to the next fun thing. However, if we are always looking ahead, we are not fully experiencing or appreciating the now which, as a result, becomes unsatisfying and so leads to further feelings of discontentment. At such times Sevens become frustrated, impatient and demanding, feeling, subconsciously, that if they express their displeasure loudly enough and are demanding enough about it then someone will jump to it and give them what they want. This behaviour comes across to others as a childish temper tantrum, making others feel that they exist merely to give the Seven what they want in life - which makes them feel, in turn, discontented, deprived and unfulfilled.
