Admirable Eights

Following on from my last post I thought that I would do a series of posts focussing on admirable people of each Type and what they show us. I thought I would start with Eights who are being given a bad name at the moment because of the behaviour of a number of Eight leaders on the world stage. So, let's concentrate on a few admirable Eights:-
Martin Luther King for advocating peaceful protest in the Civil Rights Movement - here we see the ability to energise, motivate and carry people along with them in their cause.
Oskar Schindler for saving over a thousand Jews from Nazi concentration camps in the Second World War - here we see the Eight's ability to stand up for and protect those who are vulnerable in some way or being persecuted (as we also saw with Martin Luther King)
Winston Churchill for mobilising a country and its allies to defeat Germany in the Second World War. Eights can move mountains when they set their minds to it and this is one example of such a feat. It is arguable whether any other Type could have pulled it off.
With all of the above examples we see the Eight's capacity to lead, to champion a cause - even if secretly (as in the case of Oskar Schindler) - and to be bold. Eights can be very bold and courageous and use their strength to drive action. The very best of the Eight is their ability to stand up for and protect others, as we see with all these three.
